Privacy Policy

Our privacy commitment

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We collect only what we need to produce your review and run saasreview, we encrypt sensitive data such as test-account credentials, and we delete data when it is no longer needed.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

  • Account details, your email address and a hashed (never plaintext) password.
  • Submission details, the product URL and name, your contact email, and chosen tier.
  • Optional test-account credentials for walkthrough tiers, so a reviewer can access your product.
  • Payment details, processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number.

Collected automatically: IP address, browser and device information, and server logs, used for security, fraud prevention, and debugging.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Produce, publish, and maintain your review, badge, and any improvement plan.
  • Process payments through Stripe.
  • Respond to support requests and communicate about your submission.
  • Protect the Service against fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. What We Do NOT Do

  • Sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information.
  • Share your information with data brokers or aggregators.
  • Use your information for cross-site or third-party targeted advertising.

4. Test-Account Credentials

If you provide credentials to a test account, they receive special handling: they are encrypted at rest, are accessible only to the reviewer performing your review, are used solely to complete that review, and are never sent to our AI providers. You may ask us to delete them once your review is complete by emailing privacy@saasreview.ai.

5. Published Reviews Are Public

saasreview is a publishing platform. By submitting a product, you understand that the resulting review, including the product name, our screenshots, the score, and our written assessment, is intended to be published publicly with a visible sponsored disclosure. Your account email and any test-account credentials are not published.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on a small number of providers that process data only to deliver the Service:

  • Stripe, payment processing.
  • AI providers (such as Anthropic and Google), to generate AI-assisted review drafts. We send only publicly available product information; we never send your test-account credentials.
  • Cloud hosting infrastructure, to operate our servers and database.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for sensitive test-account credentials, hashed passwords, and access controls that limit who can reach personal data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Data Retention

We retain account and submission records for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Test-account credentials are deleted on request after your review is complete. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time, subject to records we must retain by law.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data or delete your data.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent.
  • Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@saasreview.ai and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. California (CCPA/CPRA) and EEA/UK (GDPR) residents have these and additional rights; we do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it.

10. Cookies & Browser Storage

We use browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers designed to follow you across unrelated websites.

11. Children’s Privacy

saasreview is intended for businesses and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact privacy@saasreview.ai and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
